I’ve been searching for something different…

I’ve been searching for a company to work for where the values of the organization match my own.

Values where merit and decency are paired together to form trust. I think Trust is the foundation of any and every sort of relationship. Without trust, the best one can hope for is a commoditized experience. People want a personalized and professional experience, where they are heard, listened to, understood, acknowledged professionally, and feel respected. That trust comes from taking people and matters at hand seriously, in the moment, and never trivially.

Respect to me means being able to work in an environment where colleagues legitimately trust each other, as well as vendors, partners, and clients – having mutual respect. Without respect as a cornerstone, I don’t see the point in showing up for work. To me, trust and respect are two sides of the same coin of professional fulfillment.

We are in business after all and our behaviors need to be a reflection of a person, of people, and organizations of trust and respect. Behaviors like common curtesy, legitimate sincerity, delivering on what you say you are going to do, and the absence of predatory manipulation and politics. In my view, business and people must have Integrity in order to be worthy of trust and respect. Besides. who would want to work for or do business with a company that doesn’t live the values it espouses to have? In my experience, many organizations claim to level up with principled values, they spend 20 minutes talking about them, move on, and don’t behave in any manner that reflects their claims.

And finally; Confidence, I want to work with people that make choices based on the merit of the strategy at hand, what’s possible, and ambition in driving the company’s mission along with plenty of profit. Confidence isn’t just an individual attitude; it should be part of a company’s culture. Yes – we can make these goals, deliver that service, work within these constraints, and here’s how we’re going to do it!

During my career, I have been employed by or have consulted for many organizations with a wide variety of values, stated and otherwise. Usually uplifting, but generally vague, aspirational, and seldom lived by. I have not yet worked at a company that earnestly shares my values of: Trust, Respect, Integrity, and Confidence. So, I decided to start my own company so I can live my values at work.

Newly relaunched, CyberLife is an IT services company, specializing in small and medium business technology support and digital transformations, with an emphasis on automation. My business partners and I encompass a wide degree of complimentary technical and business skills and seek to serve our clients with a balance of bespoke customization and scale. And of course, staying true to our stated values of Trust, Respect, Integrity, and Confidence.

If my statement about living your values—especially the ones I talked about—is something you too are looking for in your professional life, know that we are looking for you. We seek to establish new ties with friends, partners, vendors, and clients. If this has struck a chord with you, please reach out to us! – I look forward to doing business with you soon.
